All the following is going in order, step by step- May vary for different schools or people
----Attend or view online E presentation (Check if you want to be part of the disney college program, look at all requirements to see if you're qualified)
----Get your code from the presentation and get started! (Enter your code and start filling out your information)
----Roles Check list- (The more you check the more the better chance you have! 3 top roles to keep in mind)
----Take a deep breath and take your Online Interview quizz (You're being timed so quicky select the best answer- Look at the tip section for help)
----72 hours to call in to make your appointment for your PHONE Interview ( Call in asap, get the best time suited for you and make sure you're available- LOOK at the interview tip section for help)
----Waiting for.......... your notification!- If you signed up with your email, make sure you check it constantly, It'll come within 3- 6 weeks if it's a busy time for disney, which means if you went through the E presentation with 50 other people.. you might have a longer wait. As for me it took 1 week to get my results (i went through it online) and for my email before my purple folder!
----To be accepted or not ( if you dont get accepted, dont worry- wait another semester to apply again!- If you get a purple folder it means ACCEPTED ( if you get invitation from disney in your mail, it also means accepted) If you just get a regular piece of folded paper, you may still have a chance- sometimes you can get pending notification- which means there are too many others also applying for your same position - but be patient)
----Invitation to disney!- Acceptance - Now to accept or deny- they want to know!!
----Speak to parents- Dont forget that your parents must know what this program is all about, let them read your purple folder or explain to them how much this means to you!
----Speak to your school adviser or the person in charge of the DCP if needed- your adviser will be able to tell you what kind of courses they will be offering and how you can get credits for taking them over at disney.
----Pay your Assessment Fee of 100 dollars- Plus tax- 104?
----Choose your arrival date! - If you need some time to think- take a few days to figure out asap! or you'll be getting phone calls from Disney, wanting for you to confirm a date!
----Roommate matching! - If you have a friend whos going to be down here with you and YOU"Re sure you're going to be room mates together, you're allowed to choose 1 roommate! so click on roommate matching and choose your roommate by entering her or his applicant #, make sure your friend also logs in to accept it!
----Attend meetings for the DCP upon acceptance, your school will notify you about the dates and you might have to complete other writing for them - like filling out paper work or doing daily journals for them over at disney ( this can vary for all schools and everyone)
----Plan your flight or how you're going to get there - I'm going by plane and the eariliest arrival floght will be 6:30 which will take 2 more hours or so to get there. so i decided to arrive a day earilier- Always keep in mind that the earlier you get there the better chance you get the room of your desire. trust me there will be a line there when you arrive. Check in time is 9AM-12PM
----Think, write, plan and shop your packing list!- Dont forget to plan ahead what you're going to bring or what you might need. If you're taking the plane you might be limited to what you'll be bringing down there But If you're going to be driving to florida, you can fit much more. (I'll be putting up a list of things to pack that is most important and needed) Make your list now!!!
----Finish up this semester with all A - Dont forget that those who are still in school, dont get overly excited and forget your school work!
----Book your tickets, keep checking on the priceing for the tickets for your plane or your hotel - one of my friends paid 50$ for her plane ticket to florida! so i'm looking forward to a change in the price of tickets too! but you're taking a chance the price of tickets can also go up in price too!
---- COUNT DOWN THE DAYS!!!- Awaiting the days to go by!~~~~~~~~~~~
That's it!
have a magical day!!~ <3

Disney college program: Phone Interview Process and tips
Continuation from the first part of tips.
Phew~ yoU've made it.. You should be safe now..... NOT! time for the PHONE INTERVIEW
Dont worry go through it like You would do for any interview in person.
Remember to review all your roles that you have chosen since they will be asking questions such as.. if you chose "Attractions" they will ask "If a child was too short for a ride.. what would you do" Scenery questions, just think of any kind of scenario questions for every chosen role. MAKE SURE You know your top 3 roles you wanna go for.
Other questions.. they would probably like to ask is if you're experienced.
sample questions are the following...........
What kinds of experience do you have?
Are you currently employed? Where do you work?
What do you see yourself in 10 years?
Tell me alittle about yourself
Top 3 roles you want to do.
How do you feel about living and working with people around the whole world?
Have you ever gone out all the way for a guest (i'm not sure that's how she word it but.. yea.. something like that)
Other housekeeping questions such as if i clean in my house, how do i feel about cleaning after people, working overtime, making minimum wage, having to work my weekends if needed etc.
That's all i can think of now.
I hope this can help many of you out there.! Oh and make sure you Allow your interviewer know of any experience you have and if you have done volunteer work. They are usually very friendly and nice. Prepare some questions for them and allow them to know that you're super excited. SOUND HAPPIER, SMILE WHILE TALKING ON THE PHONE if possible Speak all positives! and make sure you're at a quiet spot.
Good luck!!! Have a magical Day!!!

Disney College Program tips/online interview questions
I know, I've seen and I've experienced... It's sad to be turned down by the Mickey Mouse :(
First and most importantly. Find out if YOUR school is taking part in the disney college program because you can earn up to 12 credits as well as earn money in the Disney college Program!
Now... 1st thing 1st you have to go through the E presentation either the one holding in your school or the one on the website, i recommend going for it the website before everyone else in your school applies for it.
Finish your E presentation, which will take around an hour or so.. dont worry it's interesting and exciting to watch. Once you have finished you'll get your code that will allow you to sign up for the Disney college program.. blah blah so fill out your information and hurry your way to the next part.
HERE is the part that many get off wrong! You'll have to pass the online quiz or interview questions that consist of "AGREE, STRONGLY AGREE, DISAGREE, and STRONGLY Disagree~" to be honest i do not like this test for many reason.(nuu dont hate me disney) Read the questions carefully as you're being timed.. but dont worry, relax.. go through the questions always thinking positive. never thinking put anything negative about yourself even if you know it's true..!!! This test can be quite tricky, but always remember to think positive! The trick is to NEVER go Neutral even if you think it's the best answer! NEUTRAL IS A NO NO!!
Always choose "AGREE or STRONGLY AGREE! or DISAGREE or STRONGLY" and never take too long to answer any question or it'll be skipped and that wont do you too good.
DISNEY COLLEGE PROGRAM ACCEPTANCE LETTER!!!!! (Excited)^__^
It's a total of 74 days, 2 months and 2 weeks approximately......Yes! I'm counting!
On October 26. 2010, I learn that i have been accepted the Disney college program at Orlando Florida!
oooooooooooooo ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh WOWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!
Look at that!! it's TEH ultimate purple Folder!!!!!!!! Yes if you learn that you have been accepted you WILL receive a purple folder! You'll also get a notice in the mail if you get accepted before your purple folder so I already knew what was in stock for me. Sadly.. if you do not get accepted You WILL get only a piece of paper that tells you alot of other stuff........!
Just like everyone else I'm super excited! I don't even want to go continue school, do anymore projects I just want that day to come right away. It's bad I know.. I've been dreaming, preparing day to day to work for the mouse. YES that's right Mickey Mouse!!(the guy who scares me at night when i look at those eyes)
I've been thinking constantly.. not being able to sleep or relax. Reading blogs of others, watching youtube?
BUT, I've also been feeling afriad, knowing that i might not enjoy the Disney college program or being too overly excited for nothing. I've heard my positives and negatives about the Disney college program from friends and classmate. Certrainly.. I will not let anyone destroy my experience there! if i keep typing I'll end
up with a essay so...
Anyway, My arrival date for the program will be on January 17, 2011
Position: Housekeeping, pay... minimum wage but who cares right? :D
Already done my roommate matching together with a friend, paid my tuition for the program and so i'm just busy counting down those days now!
I'll updating on information as to what i will be bringing, maybe uploading a few vlogs.. and trying to get feedbacks from others that also have the same feeling as me and updating on information
Congratulations to those who have also made it to the DISNEY COLLEGE PROGRAM FOR 2011! and hope to see many of you down there!
Questions or feedbacks are necessary! Keep me posting anddddd.. *drum rolls*
