DPC: For those arriving earlier~ hotel Information

Since many of you know that the check in time starts from 9:00 Am and ends at 12:00
DO NOT BE LATE.
I'm suppose to be arriving the January of 17th however, the earliest flight is on 6:30 and it takes around 3 hours for arrival and i fear that I may not be able to get the room of my choice so for those of you who wants to get a room with your friends or a have a particular complex in mind, I believe it's safer to arrive earlier. I plan to live with my roommate Cherry for just 1 bedroom at Chatham and those run out fast! so, for that I will be arriving on the 16th of January and here are the Hotels I have found and recommended to be closest to the complex

The Holiday Inn Sunspree - the price ranging is really not too bad if you're considering that it's owned by the ICG however, it's walking distance from the Vista way check in
The Pineapple Hotel(Orlando Vista) which I am planning on staying because it's veryyyyy cuteeee and cheaper than the above. it's also walking distance from Vista way check in
( free continental breakfast)
And finally i was also recommended this hotel for its cheap price that my friend told me she stayed in that she thought was great! ( free continental breakfast)

Mandatory Disney College school meeting!

With 38 days left and counting.. I must say I"m exhausted. Next week will be the final week of school.. which means exams after exams after exams! I thought i could get everything over with till i went to todays Mandatory Disney College meeting which was suppose to allow us to get to know one another that was going and help us with questions.. HOWEVER, things didn't turn out the way I wanted. This college program has added more stress to my overcrowded schedule or all my final papers due and exams on the way to get me.
This may range from school to school and since I am n the Hospitality management department of my school and receiving credit for taking along classes for the Disney college program, I was left with a big packet of work to do.
The meeting started off with introducing the ourselves to one another, we met up with other disney reps from last semester.
The happy thing is I found out that out of 76 students who applied in my school, only 10 got accepted this year, which is the least to ever get accepted so maybe recession is also affecting DISNEY.
Anyway,
I am asked to write a 2 page essay on what my goals are for disney, what i plan on learing etc and how excited i am about disney to be handed in on the next one to one meeting, along with all the other information i have to fill out.
So i finally got my syllabus for disney college credits.
so aside from having work my butt off as a housekeeping i also have to
1) Take two classes at disney whenever i'm not working (4 hours long, each)
2) Keep journals that will be sent back to my advisor about my weekly learnings and understandings
3) Create weekly discussions and post response to other college reps
4) Get field supervisory evaluation (ask on first day of work)
5) Create a Professional Portfolio during Disney.
I guess i wont be having too much fun at Disney!
Time to plan out my schedules!
Have a magical day~
